Our cabinets are constructed from only the finest hand selected materials and quality hardware. We always use “FAS” (first and seconds) grade quality lumber and premium veneered plywoods for construction purposes whenever available, and no particle board is ever used. Black Walnut
Medium to dark brown heartwood to very light sapwood with other color variations . Excellent furniture hardwood for that rich warm look. Lots of variation in grain patterns possible. Stains and finishes beautifully.

Red Oak
Open grained hardwood with prominent grain, reddish color, durable, stains and finishes well

Ash
Open-grained hardwood with straight to wild grain, mostly very light color with occasional brown sapwood

Maple
Very light colored hardwood with a subtle grain, closed grain, Paints very well. Accepts stain satisfactorily.

Hickory / Pecan
Very dense Hardwood with varying colors from medium brown to creamy white. Somewhat rustic looking especially in the lower grades. Tight open grained stains and finishes well.

Cherry
Rustic softwood with lots of "character" (knots, ect.)
